Donations

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of so many friends, relations, anonymous donors etc. They are becoming almost too numerous to name individually. I would thank Rachel Butter for her very large generous donation and also the involvement of Pat Ray's family. Pat was a member of the Peace Corps in Chowe from America and his family came to visit and were exceedingly generous towards the project. The endless small and large gifts from people inspired by the simplicity of the project never cease to amaze us.

In Namizimu itself, visitors often hear about this community project and give money to Dave and Tara. The Icelandic Red Cross who have done great work in Mangochi have been very supportive towards the Chowe village. All these people and organisations have our greatest appreciation.

Cath and Lucy hope to go out on a further visit in December 2015. They look forward to revisiting this beautiful village and meeting up with the local village people again. Paul, Dave's brother, goes out for a few months each year and is always ready to help with the project.

All the funds raised in UK are lodged in a bank account in Scotland.
